Wild Wing Plantation Conway SC
Wild Wing Plantation is located on Wild Wing Boulevard in Conway, on the Wild Wing golf course just outside of Carolina Forest and across from Coastal Carolina University. It is not a gated community. Homes are priced from about $500,000 to $1.75 million, and most recent sales have closed between $530,000 and $1 million. The monthly HOA fee is $135, and homesites are available from $153,000 to $300,000.
Most homes run 2,100 to 3,500 heated square feet, with a few above 3,800 and the largest over 5,600. Lot sizes are not uniform here. Alongside standard golf-course lots, Wild Wing has estate-sized homesites of more than two acres, which is rare in a golf community this close to Myrtle Beach.
Wild Wing was built by a mix of builders, which is why the homes do not all look alike. Custom builders including Nations Homes and Dawol Homes have built here, Great Southern Homes completed development phases, and D.R. Horton developed and built The Retreat at Wild Wing, a section within the community. New construction is still available.

Wild Wing Golf Myrtle Beach
Residents of Wild Wing Plantation are welcomed with beautiful views and amazing manicured landscaping only a golf course setting could provide. Wild Wing Golf has two courses. The 18-hole Avocet Course was designed by Larry Nelson, a former U.S. Open winner, with architect Jeff Brauer. It plays 7,127 yards from the back tees and is known for its double green, double fairway and complex bunkering, and its short par-4 14th hole is one of the most fun holes in Myrtle Beach. The 9-hole Hummingbird Course rounds out the 27 holes. The clubhouse has a restaurant and bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Membership is available to homeowners for an additional fee, and the courses are open to the public, so buying a home here does not require joining.
