South Hampton is a 16-story oceanfront condo tower at 9820 Queensway Boulevard, inside the gated 145-acre Kingston Plantation resort on the north end of Myrtle Beach. Built in 1987, it sits beside its sister tower, North Hampton, and every unit looks out over the Atlantic, with most units having three balconies.
The building has two floor plans: two-bedroom, two-bath condos of about 1,150 to 1,350 square feet, and three-bedroom, three-bath lock-out condos of about 1,500 to 1,600 square feet. It is the least expensive way to own oceanfront at Kingston Plantation while keeping the same gate, the same security and the same resort amenities as the towers around it.

There are usually more South Hampton condos for sale than at any other Kingston Plantation tower, with about 15 on the market right now, from about $390,000 to $650,000. Two-bedroom units list from about $390,000 to $470,000, and three-bedroom lock-outs from about $410,000 to $650,000. The one exception is a rare first-floor, direct oceanfront two-bedroom with four balconies, listed at about $629,000.
