Belle Harbor
The biggest lots and the deepest choice in Market Common, at $87 a month.
Belle Harbor is a neighborhood of larger homes on the bird-named streets of The Market Common in Myrtle Beach SC: Goldfinch Drive, Blue Crane Circle, Mourning Dove Drive, Kingfisher Drive, Summer Starling Place, Lark Sparrow Street and Rock Dove Road. It was built from about 2017 through 2022, and it is a natural gas neighborhood.
Two things stand out. The lots run from an eighth of an acre up to more than a third, the widest range in Market Common, and the HOA is only $87 a month for the single-family homes. There is also a separate townhome section on Blue Crane Circle for buyers who want the address without the yard.

Homes For Sale in Belle Harbor
Eleven homes are listed, from $422,000 to $675,000, which is more choice than almost anywhere else in Market Common right now. Thirteen sold over the last twelve months, from $455,000 to $720,000, averaging $557,454 or $258 a square foot over 100 days. Over three years the count is 43 sales, from $417,500 to $720,000.
Those eleven listings are not interchangeable. They run from an 1,804 square foot three-bedroom to a 2,610 square foot five-bedroom, on lots that vary by a factor of three. In a neighborhood this uniform in age, the lot is usually what separates two homes at the same asking price, so walk the yards.
Sold prices have run about 2 percent under asking. With this much inventory available at once, a well-priced home still moves and an ambitious one sits, because a buyer here has ten alternatives to compare it against.

$87 HOA
Among the lowest in the district, and it still covers the pool and the recreation facilities.
Eleven Homes Listed
More choice at one time than almost any other Market Common neighborhood.

Belle Harbor Townhomes
The townhome section on Blue Crane Circle is listed separately in the MLS. Thirty-two have sold over the last three years, from $325,000 to $405,000, averaging $364,622, and the five that sold in the last year averaged $363,600 or $176 a square foot in 58 days, the quickest turnaround in Market Common.
They were built in 2021 and 2022, run about 2,040 to 2,160 square feet, and the fee is around $262 a month because it also covers water, sewer, trash, pest control, cable, grounds maintenance and the pool. Compare total monthly cost rather than sticker price when you weigh one against a single-family home here.
You can browse them on the townhome list or on the map.
Belle Harbor HOA
The single-family fee is about $87 a month, with a few homes between $80 and $111 depending on the section. It covers the pool, the recreation facilities, the common areas and association management, and owners maintain their own lots. The townhomes run about $262 because their fee also includes water, sewer, trash, pest control, cable and grounds maintenance.

Why Buyers Choose Belle Harbor
Belle Harbor solves the complaint I hear most about Market Common, which is that you buy a lovely home and get almost no yard. Here the lots go to a third of an acre, several back to open land, and the association still only asks $87 a month while covering the pool and courts. For a family that wants space and a Market Common address, it is the strongest combination in the district.
The thing to use to your advantage is the inventory. With eleven homes listed at once you can genuinely compare, which you cannot do in Monarch or The Estates where one comes up a year. Take the time to walk several, and pay attention to what each lot backs onto, because that is where the value difference sits in a neighborhood where the houses themselves are all much the same age.
