Coastal Shores North Myrtle Beach
A boutique low-rise on the oceanfront with its own pool, top-floor vaulted ceilings and skylights, and no crowd.
Coastal Shores is a small oceanfront condo building at 807 South Ocean Boulevard, on the border of the Crescent Beach and Ocean Drive sections of North Myrtle Beach, Horry County, South Carolina. Built in 1982, it is a low-rise of a few floors with lettered unit stacks, a private pool and direct beach access, and it is the kind of building buyers choose when they want the sand without a resort around them.
There are two plans: a two-bedroom, two-bath of about 825 square feet and a three-bedroom, two-bath end unit of about 1,166 square feet. The top-floor units have vaulted ceilings and skylights, every unit has an oceanfront balcony off the living area, and several have a split-bedroom layout with the primary suite on the ocean side. Owners may keep a golf cart, which makes the Main Street restaurants and the Ocean Drive shops an easy ride.

Coastal Shores Condos for Sale
Three Coastal Shores condos sold over the last three years, all of them in 2026: two two-bedroom units at about $300,000 and $340,000, and a renovated top-floor three-bedroom end unit at about $445,000 in September, at an average of about $362,000. Before that the building went several years without a sale, which is typical of a small owner-held building where people stay.
Nothing is listed at Coastal Shores right now. With only a handful of units, the three-bedroom end units are the ones buyers wait for, and renovation sets the price between two units of the same plan: the September sale had a rebuilt HVAC system, a tiled walk-in shower and a full laundry room.
Coastal Shores HOA and Amenities
The HOA fee runs about $950 a month for a two-bedroom and about $1,030 for a three-bedroom. It is a full fee that carries the building insurance, internet, water, sewer, trash, pest control, grounds, the pool and association management, with cable listed as a building amenity. Owners pay electricity and a walls-in HO-6 policy. The building is wood frame, which is common for 1980s low-rises on this stretch, and the roof was replaced in 2011.
There is no front desk and no on-site rental program, and recent sales were marketed for primary, second-home or rental use. Pets are allowed with restrictions and owners may keep a golf cart, so confirm the current rules before you offer.
