Longbridge at Barefoot Resort
Longbridge — often written Long Bridge — sits on the northwest side of Barefoot Resort, between Water Tower Road and Highway 31, in North Myrtle Beach.
The neighborhood is in two sections, and most of it lines natural areas rather than fairways — which is the thing to understand before you start comparing homes here. The exception is the homes along holes 3, 4, 11, 12 and 16 of the Fazio course. Those are golf course homes; the rest look out over preserved ground.
On the Fazio Course
Homes sit along holes 3, 4, 11, 12 and 16 of the Tom Fazio course.
Natural Area Frontage
Most of the neighborhood backs to natural areas rather than a fairway.
Full Resort Amenities
Three championship courses, the Residents Club, the beach cabana and the marina come with ownership.
Two Very Different Homes in One Neighborhood
Longbridge is really two buys under one name. A home on the Fazio looks out over a maintained fairway and carries everything that comes with course frontage — the view, the traffic, the premium. A home along a natural area is quieter, more private, and priced differently for it.
Neither is better. But they are not comparable to each other, and a price per square foot averaged across the whole neighborhood tells you very little. When you find a sold comp here, the first thing to check is which of the two it was.
Barefoot Landing and North Myrtle Beach
Barefoot Landing sits directly across the waterway — more than 100 shops and restaurants around the lake, with the House of Blues and the Alabama Theatre bringing live music and touring shows a few minutes from the front door.
The rest of North Myrtle Beach is minutes away, and Myrtle Beach is a short drive south.
