The Townes at Barefoot is the newest community at Barefoot Resort, North Myrtle Beach: three-story townhomes on Double Eagle Way and Pin Seeker Court, built from 2022 to 2024. The plans are four-bedroom, three and a half bath units of about 2,490 square feet with a private third-floor suite, and three-bedroom units around 1,670.
Two things set it apart from every other Barefoot townhome community. The construction is new, and the fee is about $280 a month, less than half what the older townhomes charge. Listings here are widely marketed for short-term rental.

The Townes at Barefoot Prices and Sales
Four are listed, from $519,890 to $575,000. Nine sold over the last twelve months, from $490,000 to $560,000, averaging $527,544 or about $251 a square foot in 67 days. Over three years the count is 37 sales, from $387,440 to $560,000, averaging $488,500.
The three-year low reflects builder pricing on the earliest closings; resales now trade from $490,000 up. End units with the golf view and the four-bedroom plans lead the range, and the three-bedroom units are the entry point.
The Townes at Barefoot HOA
The fee runs about $278 to $283 a month and covers grounds maintenance, pest control, trash, water, sewer, internet, cable, the community pool and the Residents Club. Building insurance is not typically inside the fee here, which is a large part of why it is so much lower than the older townhome communities. Ask what your policy will cost before you compare fees.
The Residents Club
The Residents Club is Barefoot Resort’s private amenity center for owners, with a pool, a fitness center and tennis courts, and a full-time activities director. Every Barefoot owner has access to it, and the association fee is what pays for it.
Golf, the Beach Cabana and the Marina
Barefoot Resort has four championship courses at the door: the Love, the Norman, the Fazio and the Dye. Owning here does not include golf. The Love, the Norman and the Fazio are public courses anyone can play, so an owner without a membership books a tee time and pays per round like any visitor. The Dye is semi-private and requires a Dye Club membership, which also covers the other three. A few listings carry a transferable golf membership, and that is worth real money.
Owners in the Barefoot Resort Residential Association have private access to an oceanfront beach cabana at 4611 South Ocean Boulevard, with a sundeck, restrooms, showers and gated parking, plus a seasonal shuttle. On the Intracoastal Waterway, the resort’s full-service marina sits beside a 15,000 square foot saltwater pool.
Why Buyers Choose The Townes at Barefoot
The Townes is where a buyer goes for new construction at Barefoot. Nothing else in the resort is this recent, and the $280 fee makes the carrying cost the lowest of any attached home here. The three-story layout, with a private suite on the top floor, is built for groups, which is why the rental market likes it.
Two things to weigh. Three stories is a lot of stairs for full-time living, so if this is a primary residence walk it with that in mind. And read the fee against the older communities correctly: it is lower partly because building insurance sits with the owner, not the association, so add that policy before you call it a bargain.
Barefoot Landing and North Myrtle Beach
Barefoot Landing sits across the Intracoastal Waterway from the resort: more than 100 shops and restaurants around the lake, with the House of Blues and the Alabama Theatre bringing live music and touring shows a few minutes from the front door.
The rest of North Myrtle Beach is minutes away, and Myrtle Beach is a short drive south.
