Buyers searching for Promenade Myrtle Beach are looking for this community; there is no other Promenade in the city. It sits one block from the beach, directly across the street from the Ocean Club, on the ocean side of Grande Dunes, the 2,200-acre master planned resort community in Myrtle Beach. It is the newest construction on this side of the community, built by Dream Finders Homes. The model is open, and what is available at any moment runs from homes still under construction to move-in ready.
One Block to the Beach
Directly across the street from the Ocean Club.
In-Unit Elevator
Built in from the start, not added later.
Maintenance Free
The exterior and the grounds are handled for you.
Ocean Club Membership
Private beach access, the oceanfront pool and the clubhouse come with the address.
Promenade Floor Plans
Three plans are offered, and the spread between the smallest and the largest is under 300 square feet — so the choice here is about layout and position rather than about buying more house.
The Avery
2,180 square feet.
The Warren
2,319 square feet.
The Haywood
2,466 square feet.
All three are three stories with an elevator, 3 to 4 bedrooms and 3 to 4 bathrooms, with one and two car garages depending on the plan.
The Elevator Is the Reason This Works
Three-story townhomes ask a real question of a buyer: are you going to want those stairs in ten years? For a buyer who is retiring, or for anyone carrying groceries and beach chairs up two flights, that question is usually what ends the conversation.
Promenade answers it in the construction. The elevator is designed into the building rather than added later, which is a different thing entirely — a retrofit means giving up a closet on every floor and spending well into five figures, and in many buildings it simply cannot be done.
Now put that with where it sits. Almost everything else on this side of Grande Dunes is resale and most of it comes with a yard, and owners over the bridge drive to the Ocean Club. Promenade owners cross the street, and the beach is a block away. A brand new, maintenance-free home you can grow old in, one block from the sand — that combination is rare here.
Grande Dunes Amenities
The centerpiece of Grande Dunes is the Ocean Club, an oceanfront clubhouse for members with multiple pools, private cabanas, locker rooms, dining with bar service and full beach services. It is directly across the street from Promenade, and owners have membership, which carries private beach access, the oceanfront pool and the restaurant.
The Members Club offers two 18-hole courses, both ranked among the top 50 in the world — the Resort Course, playable without a membership, and the Members Course, which requires one. Each course has its own clubhouse, with a pub, dining area and locker rooms. The Grande Dunes Marina is one of the best full-service boating facilities on the East coast, with boat slips and maintenance on site, and it is home to 357 Raw Coastal Bar — Myrtle Beach’s only restaurant on the Intracoastal Waterway. The Tennis Club is a 6,000 square foot facility with 10 Har-Tru courts, 8 of them lighted, and a full pro shop.
Additional memberships are offered to owners for the Members Club golf and the Tennis Club.
