Members Club Enclave at Grande Dunes
Members Club Enclave is a gated, Mediterranean resort style neighborhood of 54 homesites inside Grande Dunes, the 2,200-acre master planned resort community in Myrtle Beach.
It sits over the bridge, on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway, behind two gates — the manned Grande Dunes Gatehouse before the bridge, and a second gate before the neighborhoods themselves. There is more on how that access works on the Grande Dunes page.
The Enclave is on the right-hand side over the bridge, so the homes that front golf here look out over the Members Course. Not every lot is on the course, which is the first thing to establish about any particular address.
Check Whether the Lot Is Actually on the Course
The name says Members Club, the neighborhood sits on the Members Course side of the bridge, and the marketing calls it golf course real estate. All of that is true of the neighborhood. It is not true of every lot in it.
Some homesites here front the course and some do not, and that difference is worth real money. A buyer who assumes the name guarantees the view can end up paying course-frontage prices for an interior lot. Confirm the specific property rather than the neighborhood.
Size compounds it. From 2,500 to over 5,000 square feet is double the house at the top end, and prices run $1.3 million to $2.2 million. Any comparable sale needs to match on both counts — square footage and whether it was on the course — before the number means anything.
Grande Dunes Amenities
The centerpiece of Grande Dunes is the Ocean Club, an oceanfront clubhouse for members with multiple pools, private cabanas, locker rooms, dining with bar service and full beach services.
The Members Club offers two 18-hole courses, both ranked among the top 50 in the world — the Resort Course, playable without a membership, and the Members Course, which requires one. Each course has its own clubhouse, with a pub, dining area and locker rooms. The Grande Dunes Marina is one of the best full-service boating facilities on the East coast, with boat slips and maintenance on site, and it is home to 357 Raw Coastal Bar — Myrtle Beach’s only restaurant on the Intracoastal Waterway. The Tennis Club is a 6,000 square foot facility with 10 Har-Tru courts, 8 of them lighted, and a full pro shop.
