Caribbean Resort is an oceanfront resort at 3000 North Ocean Boulevard, on the north end of downtown Myrtle Beach, right next door to Sea Captain’s House restaurant. Its parking garage sits across Ocean Boulevard, with a Starbucks and a Ben & Jerry’s on the ground floor.

The resort is split into two MLS phases. The Phase I suite tower is almost all one-bedroom suites of about 500 to 540 square feet. The Phase II condominium tower, completed in 2007, has full-size two-, three- and four-bedroom condos of about 975 to 1,570 square feet with full kitchens.

Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor lazy rivers, hot tubs, kiddie pools, the Pirate’s Plunge water attraction, the Mist Spa, a fitness room, a game room and a seasonal oceanfront tiki bar.

Twenty-two Caribbean Resort condos are listed right now, with two more under contract. In the Phase I suite tower, eleven one-bedroom suites are listed from about $200,000 to $290,000. In the Phase II condominium tower, two-bedroom units run about $349,000 to $500,000, three-bedroom units about $440,000 to $515,000, and one four-bedroom unit is listed at about $640,000.

Eighteen sold in the last twelve months at an average of about $267,000, from about $189,000 for a one-bedroom suite to $492,500 for a three-bedroom. Fifty-nine have sold in the last three years. The highest of those were four-bedroom units of about 1,566 square feet, which sold for $552,000 to $605,000 in 2024.

The one-bedroom suites are the resort’s entry point and a popular rental. Many have been remodeled with new flooring, quartz counters and new furniture. The Phase II condos give you real condo space, and the corner units have wraparound balconies and views up and down the beach.

The HOA fee runs about $725 to $785 a month for a one-bedroom suite, about $1,435 to $1,535 for a two-bedroom, about $1,910 to $2,125 for a three-bedroom and about $2,235 for a four-bedroom. For most units it covers electricity, building insurance, internet, water, sewer, trash, grounds, the pools and the recreation facilities. A few listings do not show electricity or internet as included, so confirm what the fee covers for the unit you are considering.

One listing notes that some resort amenities are only available to units in the on-site rental program. If you plan to use your condo yourself or rent it through another company, ask which amenities your unit will have access to.
